CATCH AIR TEXAS BREAKS OFF FROM FRANCHISE TO BECOME PLAYMAZING INDOOR PLAY & PARTY
Local Company Bringing Everything In-House to Expand on these Premier Indoor Play & Party Centers for Young Children
Indoor Play, LLC, the holding company for the Catch Air franchise in the state of Texas, which employs a staff of 60 in central Texas, is leaving the Atlanta, GA based franchise system. This move was made to gain complete control on operations at all stores and to reengage their growth strategy of adding additional stores throughout Texas. The company will be renaming both locations from Catch Air Austin and Catch Air Round Rock to PlayMazing Austin and PlayMazing Round Rock beginning November 15, 2019.
With this separation, the company plans on a total revamp and enhancement for all of its Family Entertainment Centers (FEC) to bring a more superior experience for safe family fun. These enhancements will focus on expanding edutainment (education entertainment), interactive platforms, in-store events and an overall greater customer experience. PlayMazing will also be launching a new website along with a quicker check-in process, unique party packages, new pricing, expanded concessions and much more to continue growing as the best indoor play and party center for young children.
“We’re so excited to become PlayMazing and have some incredible changes in store for the community, customers and all of the fantastic kiddos who have been coming for years,” says Trey Ikard, Managing Partner for Indoor Play, LLC. “This will give us the ability to align ourselves with our vision of creating a better and safer indoor place for young children. Also, we’ll be able to serve our customers much better and in a faster timeframe since we aren’t controlled by the corporate franchise.”
Their goal is to continue adding improvements and updates to ensure customers and chilldren have the best experience, offering unique attractions and playscapes that are specifically designed for young children while providing a play day that is unlike any other indoor center. PlayMazing strives to be a place for babies and young kids to engage in fun activities in a safe space that allows creativity in active play instead of being plugged into electronic devices.
“Being born and raised in Austin, as a child playing at Shoal Creek and just being a kid I loved getting to explore and grow through adventure,” said Ikard. “Our world has changed a lot since then and as a father myself I wanted to create a safe, clean and fun indoor place where young children can learn through play in an environment that their caretakers feel comfortable letting them run, climb and just be kids.”
PlayMazing will stay open during this transition from Catch Air’s name, logos and other imagery with a full transformation scheduled for February 2020 and plans for a big grand opening party around that time. From now until the official grand opening date both stores will be going through the transformation gradually and will be updating all customers through their newsletter and social media channels.
